While promoting her upcoming NBC variety special, “Rosie Live,” Rosie O’Donnell couldn’t avoid questions about her controversial time on “The View.”
Barbara Walters, she told reporters on Wednesday morning, “wanted everyone to believe and think and act as if [the women on ‘The View’] get along and are really good friends and happy and hang out together, and, you know, that’s just not the reality.
Before the rally Nov 15th at Nashville’s courthouse Emily and I drove down to Church Street to check out the new glbt coffeehouse REVIVE. It’s located between the gay bookstore Outloud books and the new gay community center Outcentral.
It was raining most of the morning and I was afraid I wasn’t going to be able to tape any of the Rally. We talked with a customer enjoying his coffee and waiting for the Rally to begin. Andrew Thompson was gracious enough to talk with me on camera about his feelings about marriage for everybody…straight AND gay.

After several speakers on bullhorns had their say the people stepped off the curb and hiked down toward lower broad street. The pictures here are as they walked back up the hill to the courthouse.
I have some video that will be coming soon. It’s done but uploading can be a pain with satellite. I went to bed last night sending it to youtube but it quit after 37%. I’ll try again this morning…
