I just wanted to let all of you know about a special book group meeting coming up in February.
Join us for a Women’s Book Group Special Event!
The Women’s Book Group at OutLoud will meet Sunday, February 8th at 3: pm to discuss Catherine Friend’s memoir “Hit By a Farm; How I learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Barn”. More than just learning how to farm, Catherine and her partner Melissa must master collaboration and compromise, experience both the pain and joy of partnership, and find a way to satisfy both their dreams. Additional information about the book or author can be found at http://catherinefriend.com.
To give us a first hand account of just such an adventure, we will be joined by Valerie Reynolds and Emilie Whitcomb who own Avalon Farm in Dickson County. What started out as a place to get away from it all has become so much more. Additional information about Avalon Farm can be found at https://avalonfarmblog.wordpress.com.
Join us for a discussion of not only life on a farm but following your dreams. As always, this book group is open to anyone wishing to attend whether you have read the book or not.
