A few tips I’ve learned along the way…
A coffee can full of oatmeal is handy to use to clean off bit after a ride. just grab a handful and wipe down bit before putting away.
Warm your bit before using in cold weather. Sticking it under your armpit can be uncomfortable and we don’t have electicity at the barn so what to do? hand and foot warmers, bring your bridle home and keep it in the house, fill a sock with beans and microwave it then wrap it around bit. it will hold heat for at least 1/2 hour. Please post any other ideas you may have.
