Dangerous condition for your dog

I just learned about the second leading killer of dogs, after cancer:  bloat.  Sounds innocent enough, doesn’t it?  Kind of like one of those “I can’t believe I ate the whole thing” commercials.

It’s much more serious than you can imagine.  Much like a horse with colic, dogs can die within hours of developing bloat, and the symptoms are the same as many harmless conditions — they include:

acting strangely, “not herself”, anxiety, restlessness, pale gums, coughing, hunched up appearance, pacing, whining, among others

To learn more, go to the website below.  It’s chock full of info on this condition, and if you’re like me, you had no idea it existed and/or was so very serious.
